Jordan Murphy currently serves as the Territory Sales Manager for Bryan's Footprints Denver franchise, which is what defines his occupation, but his hobbies and passions extend much further than a residential floor. Jordan was a 3-year starter as a Fullback for the University of Colorado Football team (2013-2015), where he earned team captain honors in his senior season, and became a 2015 recipient of the Tom McMahon Award, a team-specific award given to the player who exemplifies the most outstanding work ethic on the team. In the spring of 2016, Jordan was awarded a Colorado Sports Person of the Year (CUSPY) award, known as the Spencer Nelson Award, which goes to the student-athlete who demonstrates exceptional leadership in the face of adversity. Following his football career, Jordan pursued health and wellness, earning his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certificate through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and later, his Master of Arts in Sports Coaching from the University of Denver. Jordan dedicated his life to the health and wellness of others ranging from group fitness classes with sedentary adults to grade school-aged football players looking to improve their speed, strength, and agility. In 2021, he retired from the field and took to the field indoors, known as flooring. Over the last 10 years, Jordan has appeared on HBO Sports with Bryant Gumbel, ESPN with Hannah Storm, USA Today, and local news stories, and has made guest speaking appearances at many milestone events. These events include the anniversary of the Saugus High School Shooting in Santa Clarita, CA (2020), Fellowship of Christian Athlete events, and spoken at many churches in the San Diego and Denver Metro area. In 2021, he joined the I Love U Guys Foundation as a keynote speaker who spoke on the importance of treatment for PTSD. His speaking gigs included key not speaking at the Virginia Threat Safety Conference in Virginia Beach (2022) and other events. His passion is to bring anthems of hope to the souls of the broken and he continues to do that through his speaking engagements and involvement in a non-profit music organization (828 Music Ministry), where he serves as the lead singer/songwriter for the band, while his songs reach thousands of people that are depressed, mentally ill, and hurting. He hopes that God uses his life story to bring HIM glory. Jordan knows he cannot make you feel better, but he hopes to point you to the one who can.
