We found Footprints Floors through a Google search. We did their online free estimate request and was promptly contacted through a text to set up an appointment. Matt came within two days, sent a proposal within another two days, and was able to start the work within another week. We chose Footprint Floors to do a kitchen backsplash to upgrade our kitchen. The night before the project start date we received a text from Melissa, who was assigned to be the manager for the project. She detailed what to expect the next day. The day of the project, Matt introduced us to Fernando and his son, who did the work. Melissa, came later in the day to check on the progress and to see if Fernando needed anything. Great experience having my kitchen floors redone by Footprint Flooring! What a great experience! Footprints set us up with a great mover that got everything out the day before and back in a week later. Our hardwood floors were a mess after 40 years of traffic. Simply put, a great business. Over the past several years we've contracted different businesses for significant home improvement projects, but not always with a 100% satisfaction. Thankfully, as it turned out, we saved the best for last. First off, our flooring project manager, Amanda, was very professional, knowledgeable, approachable, and kept consistently engaged throughout. She visited everyday to check in on her work crew to ensure their resource needs were meet and that any questions we had were answered. Great communication, she was articulate, practiced her craft well, and discussed every decision with us no matter how trivial. We could not have asked for a better work crew. A special shout-out to Darwin and Nahoon for their workmanship, sticktuitiveness, HONESTY, and overall work ethic. They identified several sub flooring areas that needed repair before flooring could be laid down. This prolonged our project timeline of course, but instead of overlooking (hiding) these critical issues to rush through the job, they were forthcoming with us, adjusted their efforts as needed, and WORKED HARD to finish our project like total pros. I cannot express how much this meant to me, as we had to address similar issues like this with less than scrupulous businesses on previous projects. In fact, this back and forth tussle had become so common, we were starting to believe this dysfunctionality was the norm until contracting with Footprints. They're as honest as the day is long. Of their installation staff, I'd say that if we were building a new house from top to bottom, we’d take special steps to make sure they were included as project leads. We were so pleased with the final result, that when the job was done we sent the installers away with gift baskets. Never felt compelled to do that before, ever. In short, Amanda and Shawna are experienced flooring experts. They run a well-oiled operation. They offer a wide range of flooring options and employ highly skilled, conscientious installers. It's been at least 2+ months, and we still absolutely love our floors. Footprints recently refinished 100 year-old floors (oak and walnut) in our house and we are so impressed! The floors were more narrow and required custom work to be done. Ralph and his team did a great job on our challenging project. It all looks great. Communication was first rate on timing and all aspects of the work. The 1st floor involved demo of ancient flooring and installation of new red oak with great attention to detail to preserve existing architectural flooring around the hearth. He fit us into his schedule and communicated with us when he was able to come earlier than planned. Justin was professional and friendly upon arrival. Exceptional work ethics and craftsmanship from the first phone call to the finished product. We called Footprints Floors to inquire about tiling our patio. Stacey picked up the phone on the first ring and promptly scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Andy came exactly within the scheduled time frame and we had our estimate on the same day. Matt, the owner and Jason, the project manager personally visited to check on the job. The communication and follow up were excellent, the job started on time and finished on time. Everything had run very smoothly. Kelvin, Victor and James did such a clean, beautiful work - careful measurements, evenness, straight lines. Our patio concrete base was uneven and unsquare and additionally, tiles had different thickness. It was a challenging job to do. Kelvin worked long hours, he did not leave for the day until completing each phase and he did everything with perfection. Thank you very much guys! Would recommend Footprints Floors Maine based on our experience. We worked with Ralph mainly over phone and email as we were moving from out of state, Ralph was very easy to communicate with and responsive. Footprint Floors Maine was timely on the estimate appointment, delivery, and projection completion. We had a few existing hard wood floors, which they match well. The final cost was very close to estimate proposal. Ralph kept us updated with photos and updates throughout the project, completion and stopped by after we moved in to follow up.

Pleasant floor refinishing experience right from the start. The owner Scott arrived on time, took measurements and was able to provide the estimate immediately. He was able to get us on the schedule in three weeks. Jonatan and crew did an awesome job, and the floors look like a brand-new installation. The Footprints Team once again did an amazing job for us. LVP, ceramic tile and new baseboards gave our rooms the refresh we were looking for!

We had our hardwood floors refinished and from start to finish the customer service from Footprints Flooring was phenomenal. Saul came out and prepared our quote and reviewed with me prior to leaving. We were having other work done at the house so it took a while for us to be ready to set a start date. I asked Saul to reach out on certain occasions to see where we were and he did. A few days prior to starting the project they came out a placed sample colors on the floor for us which was absolutely necessary because the shades can look completely different from the display colors once on the floor. When we decided all of our top picks wouldn’t work Saul suggested we try one more color, and it was perfect for us! The crew and Saul arrived on time to start the work. Miguel was the crew manager and they got right to work. We rented a local Airbnb so we were able to stop by frequently to check out the progress. Once complete Saul did a final walk through we us and there were a couple of spots we needed addressed and those were promptly handled. We are so happy with the final results on our floors!! The communication and and customer service we received from Footprints Flooring is the best we have experienced with any company we have ever worked with. I highly recommend them to anyone for their flooring needs.

We had our 2nd floor and stairs done in LVP to match the first floor. Todd was very helpful getting us in soonest and guiding us through the process. WOOD FLOORS I’ve wanted for years!!!! 🤩 Footprints Floors were experts at transforming our home. This was an extensive project with the entirely main level getting wood flooring. Rooms had carpet removed while other rooms had to be sanded, carpet on stairs was removed and everything was stained one color. Turned out more perfectly than I could have imagined!! Absolute BEST in the industry. They checked on the progress regularly to ensure complete satisfaction. In order to keep cost competitive, we bought and painted moldings, caulked and painted stairs. Pictures show before and after. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! (Rustic Beige stain).

We hired Footprints Flooring to redo the floors in our historic 1940’s home. The previous owners had removed the original hardwood floors and replaced with cheap flooring and carpet which was in pretty bad shape. We were dealing with a few very uneven floors and quirky parts of the home due to its age. The team at F.F. were so reassuring and went above and beyond in addressing our concerns, and were able to completely level out the floors while installing our new oak flooring. The finish work is really remarkable, and you can tell how much time and care they took while installing. Used Footprints for a kitchen backsplash install. Jared was great to work with - very communicative and punctual. The crew that did the install was also awesome, efficient and the final product looks great. I would maybe take a half star off of the review just because the only room for improvement with these guys is giving a little bit more guidance on what materials to purchase ahead of time - I ended up being instructed to buy way too much tile and other supplies that weren't needed and then also had to scramble the day of install to get stuff I didn't know about. In the end no big deal, just led to making some returns. Overall super happy!
